For effective humanitarian activities, VNRC has actively mobilized agencies, organizations, enterprises, benefactors and people from all walks of life to participate in humanitarian activities.
Resource mobilization based on the majority: In this way, in the years from 2013-2018 until now, the VNRC and many provinces and cities have brought into full play the internal strength of the organization system through the mobilization of members. The organization aims to create funds for the construction of humanitarian projects at the national and provincial level (typically the construction of the Red Cross Nursing and First Aid Center in Sam Son – Thanh Hoa province. The charity work to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the organization includes the building of 70 Red Cross houses, 70 cows and 70 water tanks for poor people in Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province. total value of over 4 billion VND).

Mobilizing funds through the signing and implementation of joint programs and resolutions jointly with agencies, organizations, enterprises and donors in humanitarian activities: In the period of 2013-2018, Vietnam Red Cross has signed a program of cooperation in the humanitarian field with more than 30 agencies and organizations contributing to advocacy, mobilizing resources, raising the status of the organization and effectively supporting people in difficult circumstances.

Through a co-ordinated program, several organizations, such as the State Bank of Viet Nam, the Viettel Group, Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Coca-Cola Vietnam, Friestland Campina Company … has supported significant resources for humanitarian activities.
Through a coordinated program, a number of media organizations, such as Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Communist Party Online Newspaper, VTC Digital Television Latsta Media JSC has actively mobilized resources and directly received resources for humanitarian activities. Other newspapers, such as Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Thanh Nien Newspaper, Lao Dong Newspaper, Tien Phong Newspaper … also sponsored the information resource and participated in mobilizing resources in a number of large humanitarian campaigns.
Continuing to maintain and develop the model of the Sponsoring Committee or the Council for Red Cross Sponsorship: The Red Cross Sponsorship Council set up by VNRC since 2009, re-organized in 2017; contributed to humanitarian activities organized by the Vietnam Red Cross with a total value of 46.6 billion VND.

At the launch in 2017, members of the Council and businesses committed to support humanitarian activities totaling 16 billion 850 million VND. Application of information technology in mobilizing resources: In recent years, Vietnam Red Cross has started to apply information technology and social networking in humanitarian activities in general, in mobilizing resources in particular, deployed software on maps (eg. In 2018, with the support from Microsoft Vietnam Company, VNRC has built software for assessing damages and needs after natural disasters and disasters (first to be deployed in Vietnam) to facilitate need and damage assessment and management of disaster response teams.
