From 20 Feb to 14 March 2019, Bac Giang Red Cross Chapter organized 15 first-aid training courses for nearly 500 volunteers and Chairpersons of the Red Cross of communes and towns of districts and cities.
At the training courses, the trainees were trained on technical skills, such as: Emergency victim removal techniques; primary rescue of paroxysmal airways; First aid unconscious; first aid for bleeding – shock; techniques of hemostatic bandages; fixed fracture; First aid for victims of burns, electrocution, drowning and safe transportation of victims which are common accidents in the community and provide the knowledge to identify signs, causes and risks and how to handle victims of labor accidents, traffic accidents as well as preventive measures. At the same time, trainers understand new knowledge in first aid techniques. Together with first aid technical trainings, Bac Giang Red Cross Chapter provided first aid supplies for 11 first aid points (Son Dong district: 10 points, Viet Yen district: 01 points were established and operated since 2018).

With the purpose and practical meaning of useful knowledge which is also very close to the reality as well as the instruction of enthusiastic trainers, the participants have a better understanding of the important role of first aid, learn first aid techniques to conduct quickly and promptly the initial care when an accident occurs.
